Mr Burhanuddin Ali Akber

Simulation Analyst, Department of Centre For Innovation In Medical Education

The Aga Khan University (AKU), Pakistan

Mr Burhanuddin has been working at the Aga Khan University since 2012, and is a Simulation Analyst (Operational Management) at the University's Centre for Innovation in Medical Education (CIME). He holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Dadabhoy Institute of Higher Education. Reporting to the Administration Advisor for Simulation, he is responsible for budgeting & costing, writing of reports and data management of CIME. He works alongside educators, technical staff, as well as the events management & marketing teams for the planning & deployment of resources for CIME activities. Besides being extensively involved in planning & organizing of activities at CIME, he has also conducted and facilitated various simulation-based activities within the Centre and beyond. He is also a member of Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSiH).
