Dr Antonio Bonacaro is a critical care nurse who completed his PhD in 2010, focusing on the effectiveness of different levels of fidelity in teaching basic life support to undergraduate nursing students in simulation. Before joining Anglia Ruskin University (UK) as a senior lecturer in adult nursing, Antonio worked internationally for several academic institutions in both teaching and research roles. Antonio is currently conducting several research projects in collaboration with different teams on clinical simulation, holistic nursing, pain management and the use of wearable technologies in chronic patients.
