Mr Amir Abas is a Technical Executive for Healthcare Simulation at the School of Health and Social Sciences, Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), Singapore. He has over 10 years of experience in healthcare simulation, specifically for the Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Nursing students and Paramedics students. Amir collaborates with NYP faculty members to develop computer-based training content and e-learning tools for teaching and learning. In addition, he is involved in running customised simulation workshops for international participants from countries such as Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand and Sri Lanka under the umbrella of Nanyang Polytechnic International (NYPi) programme.
