Ms Ameera Binte Sapiee is a senior staff nurse in the infectious disease Ward 17 in CGH. Throughout her working experience in Ward 17, she has nursed and managed patients requiring specific precautionary measures due to their infectious diseases. Additionally, working in the ward has also allowed her to participate in various simulated situations, such as the gowning up of nurse patients with suspected Ebola and code blue simulation exercises which require the use of PAPR for patients with respiratory infections, who need to be nursed under airborne precaution, including cases such as suspected MERS COV.
