The awards are aimed at encouraging officers and agencies to pursue excellence in their work by recognising best practices, as well as desired behaviours and values that undergird their achievements.

About the awards:

Citizen Engagement Excellence Award	This award recognises initiatives that have gone the extra mile to understand, engage and enhance partnerships between the organisation and external parties (citizens, voluntary welfare organisations or businesses).
Service Delivery Excellence Award	This award recognises exemplary agency-level initiatives that have improved service outcomes by demonstrating citizen-centricity, service innovativeness and a holistic approach to service delivery.
Dare to Do Award	This award recognises those who were able to identify new opportunities for improvement, and possess the courage to take measured risks and the perseverance to continually try and learn iteratively when faced with challenges.
Exemplary Leader Award	This award recognises exemplary leaders who have led and grown their teams, as well as driven excellent service, innovation and change within their teams.
