Our institutions work with the National University of Singapore and the Nanyang Technology University to provide training at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Bio-Medical Engineering. Individual SingHealth institutions also offer attachment programmes for advanced training to both local and overseas trainees in various areas of specialisation. Its SGH Postgraduate Medical Institute (SGH-PGMI)offers a wide range of advanced medical training as well as continuing medical education (CME) programmes to both local and overseas family physicians and specialists to help them keep pace with the latest trends and developments in medicine.

SingHealth also works with the Nanyang Polytechnic to provide practical training for registered nurses (RNs), radiographers, physiotherapists and occupational therapists at the Diploma level. The Institute of Advanced Nursing (IAN) provides advanced training in selected areas of specialis ation and continuing education programmes to nurses interested in enhancing their professional knowledge and skills. SingHealth institutions provide practical training for trainees of the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) to qualify as enrolled nurses (ENs).
