Since its inception in 2006, the Centre won numerous research sponsorship grants as principal investigators and co-investigators from funding agencies like NKF, MOH, Singapore Cancer Society and SingHealth Foundation. In addition, the Centre was also instrumental in contributing to the knowledge base of the healthcare community and informing policy makers by participating in non grant-funded projects. On the whole, all these projects covered a wide spectrum of healthcare topics which include quality of life of patients, healthcare process improvement and cost effectiveness studies. They also required multi-disciplinary research techniques like health economics, statistics, clinical and computer programming know-how.
