Jessica joined the CHSR team in January 2011 after completing an MSc, along the health economics stream, in International Health Policy at the London School of Economics achieving a number of awards including a Bank of America/Merrill Lynch Scholarship and the Brian AbelSmith Prize for the best long essay/dissertation 2009/10. Her dissertation, concluded on placement at MSD, investigated the costs and effects associated with the introduction of a novel immunosuppressive drug - for treatment of Ankylosing Spondylitis - into the Scottish population.
Jessica completed her BSc (Hons) in Medical Biochemistry at the University of Leeds, opting to undertake a year-long Industrial Placement in R&D with GlaxoSmith Kline. After graduating, she worked as a commissioning editor at Informa Healthcare and later as a data production analyst at IMS Health.
She envisages gaining a wealth of experience and knowledge from the expertise within the CHSR team at SingHealth and collaborating institutions.
