Henry Ko completed his PhD in biomedical engineering from the University of New South Wales, Australia, and Bachelor of Engineering in biomedical engineering from the Queensland University of Technology, Australia.
Henry's research has focused on various fields in biomedical engineering, systematic reviews of healthcare interventions, and health technology assessment. Prior to joining the Centre for Health Services Research in November 2011, he worked in Australia at the National Health and Medical Research Council's Clinical Trials Centre at the University of Sydney, and at the Centre for Clinical Effectiveness, Monash Institute of Health Services Research at Southern Health in Melbourne. He has also worked in the areas of health consumer advocacy, public science communication and education, healthcare industry policy and governance, and social aspects of emerging biotechnologies.
