Dr Lim was trained as a surgeon and subsequently moved into healthcare management and health services research. In addition to his post-graduate surgical qualifications, Dr Lim also completed a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University on a Fulbright scholarship. He is the Director of Policy and Research for SingHealth, and concurrently supports the Clinical Governance efforts in SGH and SingHealth. His research interests are in quality of care and patient safety as well as clinician leadership and medical education.
