Cardiology
Cardiology is the medical specialty concerned with the study, diagnosis, treatment and management of
heart disorders. Cardiac subspecialties include clinical cardiology, interventional cardiology,
heart failure,
adult congenital heart disease, neonatal and paediatric cardiology.

As a tertiary referral centre,
National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS) receives patients who require
specialised cardiovascular care from other hospitals in Singapore and neighbouring countries. With the use of sophisticated equipment, the
experienced team of cardiologists treats complex cases and sees the highest volume of patients with heart problems in Singapore.
KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH) also provides cardiology services as the main paediatric cardiology referral centre in Singapore.
