
Initiated by SingHealth in 2011, the Singapore Health Quality Service Award is Singapore’s first dedicated platform to honour healthcare professionals who have demonstrated commitment to delivering quality care and excellent service.
This year, a total of 2,694 healthcare professionals from 17 organisations were presented with the award. Their participation is testament to a shared commitment to service excellence in the healthcare sector, and to boost patient satisfaction and achieve holistic treatment outcomes.
Minister for Health, Mr Gan Kim Yong presented the awards to top winners at the Award Ceremony on 13 January 2012 at the Kallang Theatre.

Individual Awards
The Award recognises staff who fulfill the awards criteria, by presenting them with the Silver, Gold and Star awards. Superstar awards will be conferred on top winners from the Clinician, Nursing, Allied Health, Administration and Ancillary categories.
Team Awards
Besides exemplary service behaviours, this Award also recognises Clinical Practice Improvement Teams and Service Initiative Improvement Teams, for their efforts towards process improvement, enhancement of patient outcomes and patient safety.
