Singapore National Eye Centre’s (SNEC) has opened a new clinic at Balestier Road,  opposite Shaw Plaza, to meet the needs of patients living in the central and northern districts.

The clinic not only minimises travelling time for patients living in the area who previously had to travel to the main centre in Outram campus, it also offers patients a shorter waiting time.

SNEC’s eye specialists serving patients at the Balestier clinic offer the same complete range of eye specialties as that offered by the main Outram center. This includes cataract and comprehensive ophthalmology, glaucoma, retina etc. Both outpatient clinic services and day surgery are available.

The Balestier clinic is the latest in the string of satellite eye clinic service offered by SNEC. Other satellite clinics include the children’s eye service at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and the eye service at Changi General Hospital.
