Children who have dental problems can seek treatment at the Cleft and Craniofacial Centre, in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. The centre offers paediatric dentistry services in addition to its orthodontics service.

It provides a comprehensive range of
services for any patient less than age 18 years with / without craniofacial disorders, as well as children with special needs. The services range from preventive dentistry (restorative dentistry) and trauma management to general dentistry.

“All of our patients at the centre require dental clearance as well
as treatment, so it is only natural that we extend the service to other children who need dental treatment. Also, as we are part of the Children’s Hospital, the patients would benefit from the multidisciplinary expertise available should we need to refer them to other specialist's" said Dr Vincent Yeow, Director of the Cleft and and Craniofacial Centre, and Head, Department of Plastic and

Reconstructive Surgery.
