Breast Cancer Awareness Month with National Cancer Centre

2,000 disease survivors and healthcare professionals in 100km President’s Challenge Health Relay 100
More than 100 patients and disease survivors such as breast cancer survivors, stroke patients, young asthma and diabetes patients, and heart and lung transplant patients participated in a 2.5km "Walk-A-Jog with Survivors" on the morning of Sunday, 10 July 2005. The walk-a-jog marked the final leg of the overnight President’s Challenge Health Relay 100 which had the participation of more than 2,000 participants. The event was organised by SingHealth in aid of the 47 charities registered under the President’s Challenge 2005.

| "Adopt a Step" to support disease survivors and raised funds for President's Challenge 2005
In aid of the President’s Challenge 2005, Singapore’s healthcare professionals are taking up the challenge to complete a 100km health overnight relay run from 0000hrs to 0800hrs of 10 July 2005. This is the second year that SingHealth and its healthcare partners are participating in the President’s Challenge, reaching out to the less privileged in the community through a mass charity drive. Funds are raised through pledge card donations, the "Adopt-a-Step" event and other corporate contributions. This year, SingHealth targets to raise about $500,000 for the 47 charities under the President’s Challenge.
