Q. What information would I need to provide to make the first appointment? |
A. Please provide us with your :
- Name (as in your passport)
- Passport number
- Current address
- Contact phone number
- Date of birth
- Notes on your medical problem
- Preferred date of appointment

Q. If I do not have a specific doctor in mind, would you be able to recommend a doctor? |
A. Yes, we will be happy to recommend a doctor based on the information provided by you on your condition.

Q. What documents would I need to bring with me for my first appointment? |
A. For your first appointment, please bring along your any medical records/history, x-rays, current medication, and all relevant information pertaining to your medical condition. If you are referred by a doctor, also bring along contact details of the referring doctor.

Q. Do I need a doctor's referral from my home country? |
A. No, you do not need a referral from your home country. You will only need a referral letter if you wish to consult a Renal specialist or Nephrologist or a Haematologist. Please feel free to contact our International Medical Service to schedule an appointment.

Q. Would I need a visa in order to enter Singapore to seek medical treatment? |
A. Patients from ASEAN countries (except Myanmar) do not require a visa to enter Singapore. For the list of countries where nationals require a visa to enter Singapore, please kindly check the Immigration & Checkpoint Authority (ICA) website at www.ica.gov.sg

Q. If my treatment requires that I enter Singapore several times, would I need a visa for subsequent visits? |
A. You can apply for a multiple entry visa with the Immigration & Checkpoint Authority (ICA) if your treatment requires that you enter Singapore several times. The hospital can issue a letter to support your application, if necessary.

Q. Would I be informed of the medical costs associated with my treatment before I come to Singapore? |
A. We will give you the estimated medical costs, based on the medical report you provide. However, should there be a revision to the estimated charges given earlier, following your first consultation with the doctor, we will inform you again of the revised estimated medical costs.

Q. Is there accommodation near the hospital for my family members? |
A. We can arrange either for accommodation at nearby hotels for short-stays and serviced apartments for longer stay.

Q. I do not speak English, Mandarin or Malay, can you arrange for translators? |
A. We will be happy to arrange for translators for you. Just inform our International Medical Services officers when your appointment at the hospital is confirmed. The service will be chargeable.

Q. Can your hospital cater for special dietary needs? |
A. We can make the appropriate arrangements, please inform our International Medical Services officers when you are admitted. All our hospitals' kitchens are also halal-certified.
