Screening for	20-29 years	30-39 years	40-40 years	50-59 years	above 60 years
DIABETES MELLITUS			Check fasting blood glucose every 3 years if 1st screening is normal
DIABETES MELLITUS		Screening should start at 30 years old if you are at risk
COLORECTAL CANCER				Faecal occult blood test (FOBT) yearly
COLORECTAL CANCER			For those at risk, screening starts at 45 years old. Flexible sigmoidoscopy every 5 years, colonoscopy every 10 years and barium enema every 5 to 10 years
LIVER CANCER	Screening for those with chronic hepatitis B, hepatitis C, liver cirrhosis
PROSTATE CANCER				Early Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) blood screening for men with close relatives with prostate cancer arising before age 60
GLAUCOMA			Annual screening for men with family history of glaucoma (ie parents and siblings). Every 2 years for others
HEART DISEASE			Heart health screening yearly for men over 40
HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE			Check yearly from 40 years old
BLOOD CHOLESTEROL			Once very five years from 40 years old. More frequently if results are abnormal or if you have other risk factors
