Training Stories 

 SingHealth SURE series was conducted to help the N.U.S final year medical students for the M.B.B.S. examination.  We thank our tutors in giving guidance and sharing precious pointers with the students.  


SingHealth BST Preparatory Course for Surgery

"The Singhealth BST prep course has been very thoughtfully organised to cover most of the surgical subspecialities. This was especially useful considering that today's candidates are taking the exams earlier and earlier with little clinical exposure to all the relevant surgical fields. Although the topics covered were not exhaustive, it certainly helped crystalize many concepts by the earnest and effective tutors. The course has certainly been useful and I'm sure all those who attended feel the same. I applaud the dedication of all those who took extra time off to make the course possible and I hope the course will continue so as to benefit future batches of surgeons in training. Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP)

HMDP sees our staff embarking on fellowships to renowned overseas training centres to learn new skills, harness new technology and find new solutions for patients. 

Details of SingHealth HMDP Awards FY2006 are published on MM Intranet.   Our recipients were congratulated at the HMDP Reception in June 2006.

HMDP Update on liver Transplant was successfully organized on 12 September 2006. Read more.
