Whether you have chosen a career as a specialist or a family physician, your practice as a doctor requires a broad based medical education with exposure to many different areas of medicine. Doctors in BST or AST programs further require in depth training in certain sub-specialties in order to qualify for higher examinations. 
In order to ensure that your training is optimized and graduated in complexity, SingHealth rotates (postings) all junior doctors through various departments at regular intervals. This process takes into consideration your training needs versus service quality and SingHealth's commitment to our patients.
For the majority of doctors in SingHealth, you will make your Medical Officer Posting Exercise (MOPEX) choices online through the Integrated Medical Manpower System (IMMS). This is located on the SingHealth intranet.
