Resident Physicians are non-specialist doctors providing first-line clinical coverage in medical departments within SingHealth hospitals. The Resident Physician Scheme is created to you an alternative and attractive career track if you do not aspire to be a specialist but still wish to remain practicing in a hospital setting. As a resident physician, you will have at least 5 years of post house officer experience. Upon appointment, you may be offered 3-year renewable contracts.
Clinical Associates are foreign doctors who possess basic medical degree awarded by an overseas medical school not listed on the list of Registrable Medical Degrees on the Medical Registration pages of the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) web site.
You may be employed subject to successful medical registration with the SMC. Your contract may be renewed upon expiry, subject to your work performance and the manpower needs of SingHealth.
