May 06 MOPEX Final Results
The May 06 MOPEX Final Result has been released. Click here for results.
Please note that the date of physical changeover for the May 06 MOPEX is Wednesday, 3 May 2006.
For the HOs turn MOs, they will commence Medical Officer training on 30 April 2006 in their current HO department and then changeover to the department assigned for May 2006 MOPEX on 3 May 2006, together with the rest of the Medical Officers.

May 2006 AST Intake Application
The application for May 2006 AST is now open. Applicants who have obtained the MMed or equivalent qualifications, and completed 3 years of basic training in recognised Singapore and/or overseas hospitals are eligible to apply. Singapore Medical Society University of Adelaide Education Forum
The Singapore Medical Society University of Adelaide is organizing an Education Forum for all overseas medical students. The details for the forum are as follow:

MOPEX Final Result Nov 2005
The MOPEX prelimary results for Nov 05 has been released. Click for results here
For those who wish to put up for posting change, you may wish to check out our "Mutual Exchange Online" to put up or view mutual exchange requests.
All mutual exchange applications must be submitted to the respective Heads of Department (HODs) for endorsement and final approval from Director, Medical Manpower. The duly completed form should reach Medical Manpower Department by Monday, 17 October 05, 5pm. Late submissions will not be accepted.

May 2005 BST Traineeship Exercise
The BST Traineeship Exercise for May 2005 is now open for applications. The Traineeship Circular and its Annexes are available here.

For this Traineeship exercise, there are 2 new initiatives:
- Traineeship is extended to doctors in private practice
- 2nd choice of Traineeship specialty remains optional, but there will be no restrictions on the specialty, ie applicants who are interested in indicating a 2nd choice may choose any 1 of the 14 basic specialties.
A Career Guidance Seminar has been scheduled for 4 November 2004 (Thursday) from 5.15pm in Ministry of Health's Auditorium (College of Medicine Building, 16 College Road). All MOs and eligible HOs are invited to attend this seminar. Light refreshments would be served from 5.15 to 5.30pm.
