1. When are the changeover dates for MOs? - Physical changeover in May and November of every year. - Circulars and MOPEX forms to be distributed to all MOs 3-4 months before these changeover dates
2. Can I choose the departments from National Healthcare Group? - Yes. Choices can be made from departments from both SingHealth and NHG.
3. In what priority listing will the posting exercise be conducted? Criteria: - Posting of trainees given in accordance with traineeship requirements. - Past performance grading points - Support from HODs, if any
4. When and how will the results be released? - Preliminary results released one month before the physical changeover, i.e. 1 Apr or 1 Oct. - Via email and SMS service.
5. Can I appeal for change of posting if the posting given to me is not my preference? - Mutual exchange requests are allowed, subject to approval by the relevant HODs and DMM. - Requests should be submitted within 2 weeks of release of preliminary results.
6. If I am promoted to Registrar after the release of the MOPEX results, can I be granted to be posted to the department of my choice? - MOs promoted to Registrars after the release of the MOPEX results will have to go to the new department at the MO changeover until the next MOPEX, unless the department agrees to release him/her without a replacement, or through the process of mutual exchange.
7. If I tender my resignation, will I still stay in my current department until the last day of service? - MOs who resign before the release of the MOPEX results are to stay with their current department until the last day of service. - MOs who resign after the release of the MOPEX results would have to go to the new department at the MO changeover.
