“Strengthening Epidemiological Surveillance and Response (ESR) for Communicable Diseases in Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines”.
 Keynote speech of the Indonesia MoH Director-General for Communicable Disease Control at the SUBREGIONAL PLANNING WORKSHOP, Hotel Borobudur, Jakarta, Indonesia, 22-23 November 2006; a Singhealth IMPAct Project funded by the Asian Development Bank. | This is a contract awarded by the Asian Development Bank (Regional Technical Assistance No. 6305) for SingHealth IMPAct to provide ESR Technical Team Leadership in association with firms in the Philippines (Pacific Rim Innovation and Management Exponents, the lead firm), Indonesia (PT Trans Intra Asia), and Malaysia (Health Solutions SDN BHD). The Executing Agency is ADB and the Implementing Agencies are the Ministries of Health of the three countries.

“Disaster Management/ Medical and Humanitarian Emergencies”.
This is a contract awarded by the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for SingHealth IMPAct to provide a 1-week training course for public and private sector Emergency & Disaster management professionals from ASEAN+3 member countries.

“A Review and Recommendations on the Availability and Practicality of Tools for Planning & Budgeting of Essential Health Services and Health System Resources at District/Municipal Levels in Indonesia”.
 This is a contract, funded by a Japan Grant (PHRD TF-053117), for SingHealth IMPAct to provide technical assistance to the World Bank Provincial Health Project (PHP-II) Implementation Unit of the Indonesia Ministry of Health and their implementing partner, PT Bahana Mitra Buana.

“Global Health Technical Assistance Support Contract-Three (TASC-3)”.
This is a sub-contract with Research Triangle Institute (RTI) International. RTI and 14 other consortia have been awarded pre-qualification to bid on Task Orders issued under this 5-year USD $1 billion Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) by the US Agency for International Development (USAID). SingHealth IMPAct is a Resource Partner for RTI, and will contribute to the provision of short-term technical assistance and training to USAID Field Missions and their Ministry of Health and non-government organization (NGO) partners in various aspects of Global Health (e.g., Maternal, Neonatal & Under-5 Child Health) when RTI is awarded TASC-3 contracts.

“Stamping Out Pandemic and Avian Influenza (STOP AI) Project”.
This is a sub-contract with Development Alternatives Inc. (DAI). The STOP AI Project is a 3-year USD $35 million USAID-funded project which aims to help developing countries prevent highly pathogenic avian influenza from evolving into a form transmissible to and between humans, while mitigating the economic hardship arising from the disease. SingHealth IMPAct is a Resource Partner for DAI, and will contribute to the provision of short-term technical assistance and training to USAID Field Missions and their Ministry of Health and non-government organization (NGO) partners in Surveillance & Response for Influenza-Like Illness.
