Program Director's Welcome

Welcome to the SingHealth Emergency Medicine Residency Program. We have an exciting and dynamic program committed to providing the finest clinical and educational environment for your residency training. Here, we offer an exceptional place for you to train and learn the art of Emergency Medicine. 

Our goal is to nurture Emergency Medicine specialists who are professional, compassionate, clinically proficient, patient-centered and evidence-based in their approach. We aspire to prepare you to become a leader in your chosen community, wherever you may choose to live and serve.

To accomplish these goals, our program provides both experiential and didactic training. Patient care experience is provided through a variety of case mix from our three hospitals (SGH, KKH and CGH), under the supervision of clinical core faculty members recognized for their scholarly track record and passion in mentoring aspiring trainees. Residents are granted graded and progressive responsibility as they advance.

At SingHealth, we not only guarantee an excellent curricular and educational program, we also ensure our residents maintain well-rounded lifestyle choices. We provide platforms to cultivate varied interests and develop camaraderie with other members of the SingHealth family.
