Career Prospects

SingHealth’s nurses are encouraged to undertake life long learning and build on their areas of special interest.  SingHealth’s nurses are care givers, patient educators, health educators, advocates and researchers.  They are encouraged to either advance their clinical practice to become Advanced Practice Nurses, or concentrate on management or the delivery of education.  Although there is no separate career track for nurse researchers, SingHealth’s nurses are integral to delivering the growing translational research agenda within our organisations.
