Dr Philip Wong is the Senior Consultant, Department of Cardiology and Director, Research and Development Unit at the National Heart Centre Singapore.
He graduated with his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 1989. He obtained his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom) in 1995.
Dr Wong did his Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology since 2005; Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, UK since 2004; and Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore since 2003.
His sub-specialty interest is in interventional cardiology with research interest in stem cell work, tissue engineering and development of minimally invasive methods of catheter-based delivery for cellular therapeutics.
