Dr Johan BA is the Senior Consultant, Department of Cardiology and Director, Cardiovascular Rehabilitation and Preventive Cardiology at the National Heart Centre Singapore.
He graduated with his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1960 from the University of Malaya, Singapore. He obtained his Membership of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Sydney) in 1965 and his Diploma in Cardiology from the University of Copenhagan, Denmark in 1969.
Dr Johan did his fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia from 1972–1973.
In addition, he is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore since 1968; Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Sydney) since 1972; Fellow of the American College of Chest Physician since 1976; and Fellow of the American College of Cardiology since 1992.
Dr Johan’s sub-specialty interest is in clinical cardiology/cardiovascular rehabilitation and preventive cardiology.
