SGH Campus Renewal
The new Academia, situated opposite the Singapore National Eye Centre, is expected to be completed in 2013. The building will create the much needed capacity to cope with the demand for clinical investigations that is rising in tandem with the increasing patient volume on SGH Campus.
Please do expect some noise from the construction site. Every effort has been taken to make your stay or visit as comfortable as possible. To ensure uninterrupted rest for patients at night, all construction works will stop at 6.00pm daily. Ear plugs are available for inpatients upon request.
Traffic Congestion
With the major construction works, some traffic congestion is unavoidable, especially during peak hours. We therefore advise visitors and patients who are active and mobile, to use public transport or our shuttle bus service to travel to the SGH Campus. These services are available from Outram MRT Station (E-W line) along Outram Road and the bus interchange on Eu Tong Sen Street (Outram MRT NEL).
These construction works will cause inconveniences but they are necessary in order for us to make the much needed changes that will benefit all our patients in future.
If you have any suggestions or feedback, please send us an email at qsm.feedback@singhealth.com.sg or write to SingHealth Group Service Quality, Block 6, Level 1, SGH Campus, Singapore 169608.
Thank you for working with us to make the patient experience at SGH Campus a better one.
